 Welcome to the website for First Baptist Church of Defiance. Our
purpose is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ in all that we do by
personal spiritual growth and understanding of His Word; by
mutual building up of one another through fellowship and
worship; and by telling the Good News of Redemption through
Jesus Christ to the world.
The purpose of this site is to introduce you to our church and
to give you a glimpse of how the ministry of our church can be
relevant to the needs in your life. We have worked hard to
present a complete view of our church on this
site, but the best way to really discover the ministry and
people of First Baptist Church is by spending some time with us. God is at work in our congregation in some very exciting ways
and we invite you to come and experience for yourself what God
is doing here. We are just a group of ordinary people who are
encountering an extraordinary God.
We believe that you have been designed by God and placed here on
earth for a very special purpose. We want to help you discover
that purpose God has for you. We invite you to spend some time
