» First Baptist Team

Senior Pastor
Tim Yazel

Tim came to First Baptist in January 2003 from the WBCL Radio Network, where he served 7 years as Assistant Manager for Operations.  He and his wonderful wife Becky have been married for nearly 34 years and have served in ministry together for almost 33 years.  They have 2 adult children and 2 grandchildren who are real joy-spots in their lives.  Tim’s prayer is that God will continue the wonderful transformation He has begun at First Baptist and that He will use the church powerfully in His kingdom.

Tim Harlos
Youth Pastor

Tim Harlos a.k.a. “PT” came to First Baptist in September of 2003.  He was born in Alexandria, VA where he graduated from high school at T.C. Williams High School.  He went to Word of Life Bible Institute in Schroon Lake , NY and graduated with a one year degree.  After this he transferred to Cornerstone University and graduated with a Bachelors of Religious Education.  He continued his education at Grand Rapids Theological Seminary where he received his Masters of Divinity in 1998.  He is supported by his beautiful wife, Julie, and his daughter and son (Allison and Caleb).

Wayne Altstaetter
Worship Team / Young Adults

Wayne leads worship music and the young adult ministry, Something Better, at FBC.  He enjoys spending time with people, telling jokes and long walks on the beach at sunset (with his wife, of course).  While these are all true, on a more serious note, Wayne loves to sing, play his guitar, and use these gifts to worship the Lord. In his free time he likes to play basketball and other sports, play a little Xbox, and spend time with his wife Kari.

Wayne is a 2004 graduate of Cedarville University and has been on staff at FBC since 2004. It is Wayne’s desire that the music ministry of FBC be relevant to our culture and always point people towards connecting with the Lord.

Psalm 63:1-4
“O God, you are my God! I long for you! My soul thirsts for you, my flesh yearns for you in a dry and parched land where there is no water. Yes, in the sanctuary I have seen you, and witnessed your power and splendor. Because experiencing your loyal love is better than life itself, my lips will praise you. For this reason I will praise you while I live; in your name I will lift up my hands.“

Church Secretary
Teresa Molnar

God has blessed Teresa with a wonderful family.  She is a wife, a mother, and a grandmother.  She enjoys traveling, mission trips, organizing community outreach programs and working with children.  Bible Studies are very important to her and she enjoys sharing God’s Word in testimony, for He alone has changed her and deserves all the praise.  Teresa counts it a privilege to serve God and the FBC congregation as secretary.
